Allowing the browser to cache certain objects can greatly increase a websites performance. However, there may be times when you will need to tell your browser to download fresh content (and overwrite the currently cached objects). This is common when a CSS change is made but not visible, or a new image is still showing as an old one.    The focus of this article is to explain how to clear the browser cache. We've described how to clear the cache in a few of the mainstream browsers below.
